I wish I could be at the church service to wrap my arms around you and tell you how terribly sorry I am. Our family will continue to pray for you. I have two girls of my own and cannot imagine the pain you are in. Know you will see your beautiful Kelsey again in heaven and know that the monster that did this will be caught. God bless you all.

My heart is broken since the world has lost a precious, dear child. I pray that God called Kelsey home because he needed an extra special Angel. May God Bless Kelsey's family and friends.

I ache for you all. My heart burns in prayer for you Greg, Missy, kids, Pat, Dave and Shannon. There are no words, only a passioned plea to the Holy Spirit to give you comfort. I know Kelsey is in the presence of Jesus while we all mourn. I wish so much that I could be there. Bascue
My heart breaks for you all. May the good Lord embrace you and comfort you in this sad time.

My prayers go out to Kelsey Smith's family. When I first heard the news I was so scared because that is also my nieces name and she just graduated as well. I am so sorry for your loss. I will remember your family in prayer. May God be with you during this time and in the days to come.
Eternal rest grant unto Kelsey, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon Her. May Kelsey's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
I have to say this first and foremost, I argued all afternoon with my youth pastor to cancel our service tonight and take us down there and he did... And though on the way there and while there many said to me she was in a better place, I felt I didn't want her to be... Kelsey was what made this place, my better place... it's people like her that make life so much nicer, so much easier to wake up in the morning and look forward to school... It's people like her that are the foundation builders for the most AMAZING friendships and relationships in any form... I must say that though gone, NEVER forgoten will Kelsey's overall image, carisma, beauty and joy be to me... And though I could say good luck on your journey Kelsey... you never needed it down here and most certainly don't up there... May my prayers be guided to you and your family and may you forever be joyful once again.♥ you and Miss you
While you are at the prayer service, I will light a candle for Kelsey in her memory. America needs to never forget these tragedies, so that we can remember the people who had to leave so shortly before we had the honor to meet them. Kelsey was a beautiful girl, and she's probably one of Gods angels now. May God bless you
My heart is aching for all of you. As a mother and grandmother I can only imagine your pain. I will keep you in prayer and know that Kelsey is in the loving arms of God now. May you find peace in knowing that. God you bless and keep you.
Please know that people of all faiths are thinking of you and your family. I'm an agnostic, don't really believe in God, but even those without faith think of your family today. May you find comfort in your faith and I hope you will see your daughter again one day.
These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Our family lives in Lenexa, KS and our kids have attended (one still is attending) Shawnee Mission West. As part of the wonderful SMWest family, our thoughts and prayers are with the Smith family during this very difficult time. Let the words and thoughts of so many people across the country (and world) help you through this time. Please know that Kelsey has touched so many lives...and caused thousands and perhaps millions of people to stop and think about what is important and precious to each one of us. Perhaps we've all taken an extra moment to look at our families with a bit more love. May you find some strength and some comfort in the words of everyone across the land.
People we don't know go missing everyday but for some reason, Kelsey struck a cord with me. Her kidnapping and now unfortunately her death has affected me so bad. I feel like she is in my head and I can't get her out. I have never felt this way about any story I have ever seen. Being a mother myself, I can not imagine the pain you feel, but please know you have tons of prayers. God bless you during this time.
