1 Corinthians 15:51-57
51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
55"Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?" 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mother earth holds us close to her with the force of gravity and does not allow us to float around in outer space while the planet rotates on it axis. Love is the glue, the harmonizer that hold everything together. Challenges that come on our paths can be transformed with the power of love...Its a shame that someone so young was taken away in such a senseless manner. I pray that you can heal from this. Please know that your faith in God will help get you through. Remember the love that you had for Kelsey and use that to heal your hurt. If you loved her and made her life happy while she was here, you did all that God expects of you. God Bless You!!

I really hope that they catch this guy - I'm sure that the police have considered this option, but have they done any searches on sites like Myspace or Friendster? A guy like that in his 20's may have a site, and you can limit your search by zip codes, m/f, etc.

Sorry for posting this comment here, I just thought it was a good idea, but I didn't want to waste the tip line's time.

Again, my prayers are with you.

My deepest condolences. I am personally torn on the loss of Kelsey. This truly shakes me. I cry and cry. I was attacked in my car with a knife, but I got away. I can't help but wonder why I got away and she didn't. She deserves to be alive as much as I do. I hope that she found peace in those tragic moments and that her family and friends can remember all of the times they spent together instead of the flood of media that is now so present. She is so beautiful and, I am sure, has made heaven a brighter place. I hope they find the freak that did this...but I am afraid that it will not help the greif. Knowing who and how does not change the outcome. Remember her "spitfire" attitude.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Kelsey Smith at this difficult time. May God wrap his arms around you and comfort your pain. Although I did not know Kelsey, her spirit has touched the hearts and souls of many people.

God Bless the family and friends of Kelsey.

Sincerely, Lindy from Lexington KY
