My deepest condolences. I am personally torn on the loss of Kelsey. I cry and cry. I was attacked in my cay with a knife, but I got away. I can't help but wonder why I got away and she didn't. She deserves to be alive as much as I do. I hope that she found peace in those tragic moments and that her family and friends can remember all of the times they spent together instead of the flood of media that is now so present. She is so beautiful and. I am sure, has made heaven a brighter place. I hope they find the freak that did this...but I am afraid that it will not help the greif. Knowing who and how does not change the outcome. Remember her "spitfire" attitude.

First off I want to say my deepest symthy. My heart goes out to the family and friends. God will be with you as you go throw this time of mourning. You'll be in my prayers. I've followed up on this story ever since they announced it on the news. When me and my mom heard that they found a body. We both started to cry. And when they said that they believe it is Kelsey. We cried even more. And when they said it was her. We both bawled because it wasn't right that beautiful young women wasn't suppost to die. She was younger then me. Her life was just begining. Once again my hear goes out to you all. God Bless.

Nikki.

As I watched this story unfold on the news, my heart just broke. Your daughter looked like such a beautiful young girl, inside and out. She is with the Lord where there is no more suffering or pain. And may God hold your family in the palm of His Hand and give you strength and courage during this very difficult time. God Bless you all...

Our most heartfelt condolences. As a community at large we cannot help but to share in the anguish of this tragic loss. May God comfort all those nearest to that beautiful young girl, who's life was cut so short. We pray that her spirit be lifted into the presence of God and that the Holy Spirit protect and comfort her family.

I saw your story on my local news in Charlotte, North Carolina and I just would like to extend my deepest condolences to your family during this tragic time. It is so sad to see all this hatred we have in this world. My husband is currently deployed to Iraq and its really made realize since he's been gone how precious life truly is. This is another reminder of this. May God give your family all the love and comfort you need during this trying time in your lives. And may Kelsey's love be shining down on you and her wonderful memories give you comfort!
Take Care and God Bless!

Our family lives in Lenexa, KS and our kids have attended (one still is attending) Shawnee Mission West. As part of the wonderful SMWest family, our thoughts and prayers are with the Smith family during this very difficult time. Let the words and thoughts of so many people across the country (and world) help you through this time. Please know that Kelsey has touched so many lives...and caused thousands and perhaps millions of people to stop and think about what is important and precious to each one of us. Perhaps we've all taken an extra moment to look at our families with a bit more love. May you find some strength and some comfort in the words of everyone across the land.
